I got used to this feature on Board2, and it was pretty cool. I could rename my threads as many times as I wanted. I actually used it with a "I'm now a [stuff]" thread.

But here, once you created your thread, there is no way to rename it. So if you made a typo...


Plain and simple: I suggest adding a feature so that everyone can rename his threads. Unless there's a reason why it's not implemented?

Edit: I see... it's annoying when users abuse from it. Well, you could allow it, say, once or twice, so the user can fix his typo...

Yeah, but... when you accidentally typed "I love my fat" instead of "I love my cat" and there's no staff member around, only normal users?

Yea... you've got a point there... that could be an awful typo

So, yea... I think it could be useful for some purposes, but can get annoying after a while

We'll have to wait to see what the staff says about this, though...

Usually at least admins here check the board frequently I see Anya and cpubasic13 on a lot, etc. Xkeeper hides from the online users list, but he checks the board frequently as well. I don't know what it's like at board2, although it's less active in general

Right. Board2 is not very active. That's why I came here. There, I posted something NSMB-related, noone cared. The only place where I got feedback was the spatula forum.

But though, their IRC is more active than Jul's.

If you want your thread's title changed, because of typos or some other reason... just ask a staff member

Even when there's no one around to ask, you can still edit the post to put the corrected thread title, so one of us fixes it whenever we see it


And the only reason Jul's IRC isn't that active (outside of Tina's post reporting) is because we're all in a second (restricted) channel, we usually idle in the public one too

What has Jul done to me.

Typos slip out from even the best proofreaders' eyes sometimes. Lord knows I've made some pretty nasty mistakes...

And yeah, I know... the easy solution is to write "I love my pussy"... but suppose you want to use "cat"
