What television commercials annoy you the most? For me, it's commercials for establishments not in my area, namely:

- Sonic Drive-In: why must they advertise it around here when there isn't one in my area >_>
- Dave & Buster's: I don't know where the nearest D&B to me is...
- Dairy Queen: IIRC, the closest one to me is in New Jersey...
- Red Robin: not sure where the closest Red Robin to me is either o_O
- TJ Maxx: they left my area a few years ago, yet I still sometimes see advertisements for them sometimes -_-
- Pep Boys: I might be blind, as there might be one in my area, yet I don't know about it...

I used to think that all the time when I lived in Michigan/Boston.

I don't watch TV commercials anymore though, simply because I don't watch a lot of TV. When I do it's usually something that was caught on the DVR, and I can just fast-forward through the commercials then.

TV, that's the thing that's like YouTube but you have to wait for something to be shown rather than searching and clicking, right?

On the rare occasions that I watch TV, I'm annoyed by:
- Commercials for medicines that have really nasty side effects. Like an allergy medication that causes vomiting, shortness of breath, and overactive bladder. I think I'd rather just have the allergy.
- Those really corny singing Comcast ads that air in metro Detroit sometimes.
- Any ad that's played over and over again, especially if it's more than once within a commercial break.
- Ads for which I can't tell what they're advertising until the end of the ad.

I don't watch TV anymore, but I do use The Weather Channel as an alarm clock since it is both background noise, and annoying as hell.

When I do catch a commercial, along with the ones that I remember being irritating, I usually hate:

- Geico commercials (actually any insurance company's commercial except for Allstate, but Geico takes the cake)

- Commercials for feminine products, especially if they are really blunt about it. (makes for plenty of awkward situations when you and your guy friend are watching the tube, when all of a sudden "Hey girls! Stick our tampon up your crotch! Girl power! WTF?)

- Anything that comes right out and announces the disgusting thing it's supposed to cure (do you have nasty burning vaginal itch?! How about herpes? We can treat herpes!)

- Anything that is played 100 times in a row on a single station because apparently they can't get any other sponsors.

- Anything that is just plain retarded, and I can't even tell what brand or even what product it is. (basically all commercials.)

- Anything where everyone in the commercial is so obviously fake, exaggerated, and/or extremely stereotypical that it makes me want to vomit just thinking about how someone in marketing actually thinks that most people will relate to it. (again, basically all commercials.)

So its probably no surprise that I got fed up with tv.

I don't watch TV anymore DUE to the commercials. All of them are stupid and pointless. Why would I want to waste more then half of the time in front of the TV watching adds? I think I will stick to watching shit on youtube or download it, thank you.

They used to do that here (in Columbus) and Cleveland, too! There was only one in the state, and it was not close at all.

But then they built a bunch, so I guess that solves that.

Commercials about products/stores that aren't here don't bother me. I got used to them.

I have an intense dislike for those progressive commercials. I just can't stand that chick.

Oh and Kidz Bop. God do I hate kids singing.

Yea... I can't stand political ads, especially some of them last year, for a U.S. Representative in New York that was similar to the fights you mentioned, Bloodstar...
