Yeah, I meant the planet model. Would it not be possible to hack the game so that it loads a different area than it was meant to? say, in the frigate Orpheon, instead of a door leading to another frigate room, a door leads to the Phazon Mines etc? Man, the viewer looks amazing so far, have you looked around in the TEST_ANIM.pak file?




Oh, yeah it will possible, once I have MREA's decoded. And yes I have looked into it a bit.

Damn, deleted what I just typed...

The beta Gravity Suit looks like when Metroid Prime sucks the Phazon Suit off you, your suit turns a wierd colour, then you get the Gravity Suit.

I'm quite interested in the beta models you may/will find, who knows, maybe the beta suit and/or arm cannon are still in there?-ok, maybe not.

Rule of any 3d modeling.

The more something is seen, the greater detail. The less something is seen... well... ever wonder why some models have lumps for feet and nothing inside the ears?

I hope you don't mind me bumping this topic, but I thought it best to post it here: MPxViewer has been resurrected and now has support for MP3 and prelim support for DKCR, unfortunately I've been concentrating pretty hard on the models I haven't gotten around to working on MREA support, it's started but it's no where near usable.

Sadly I don't have any actual code to or documentation to show, but MilesSMB has written a randomizer for Prime 1. A VOD of his playthrough attempt can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/milessmb/c/4297668. He's still cleaning it up and I have no idea if he plans on releasing it. I believe it works by editing the locations of the items in the ISO beforehand, so it's not ASM hackery.
