Gary and Silver are on equal footing when it comes to rivals, if you ask me. I'd probably go with Silver as the better one if I hadn't been able to identify with Gary because of the anime that I watched for awhile. Gary just oozed cool in that show.

Worst rival? That stupid kid from Diamond/Pearl. "LOL I'M IN A HURRY AND ALSO A BUMBLING NINCOMPOOP"

I've never played Pokémon, and I voted Team Magma because I was curious as to the bar colour

I knew about the trading card game before the video game because some people would bring the cards to school, so I thought Pokémon was just some modern variant of baseball/football cards

Team magma was a bad group trying to turn water to land for land pokémon, and their enemy was team aqua, who turned land to water for water pokémon. You should play it, though. I still play it sometimes.

I guess you would argue that in Emerald they both did. Team Magma's inducing global warming wasn't too sinister in and of itself, but the floods caused by Team Aqua were a lot more menacing in theory. And together...well it didn't really make a whole lot of sense, but it sure caused the world to go haywire.

They spent more time fighting eachother than they did you. I don't even think they had a serious role in the anime as a direct result of this.

Team Rocket, the original evil team from Pokémon is awesome ^_^

Although, I do admit... how many times have Jessie and James failed to catch Ash's Pikachu? It has to be at least 500 by now... o_O

Also, why didn't they introduce Gallade in RSE? He came one generation too late (ditto with Froslass... female Glalie just seems weird to me)...

Also, one annoying thing about the name "Mr. Mime" is that it can be either gender... this stems to the fact that Mr. Mime's Japanese name is "Barrierd", which has nothing to do with gender at all o_O

I guess Nintendo of America didn't think Pokémon would eventually have genders or something, back when they were creating names for the original 151 >_>
