I've had quite a few shiny Pokémon over the years o_O

- Red Gyarados (in both Silver and Crystal)
- Shiny Tauros (Crystal, caught in 2003)
- Shiny Electrike (Emerald, 2007)
- Shiny Shieldon (Diamond GTS, 2009)
- Shiny Shinx (Diamond, 2009)
- Shiny Nincada (Diamond, 2009)
- Shiny Zubat (Platinum, 2009, now Golbat)
- Shiny ExtremeSpeed Dratini (Crystal emulator, 2009)

Is it just me, or do shinies seem more common in DPP than in previous games? >_>

Nobody's ever done a foxgirl, to my knowledge. And Disgaea's awesome, so... yeah.

I frequently ran into shiny Rhyhorn, Exeggcute/Exeggutor, and Graveler... a few Onix as well.

I do have a shiny Mewtwo in pearl, though. I had a friend trade it to me after capturing it with an AR... but the shiny part was completely unintentional. Weird luck.

It's just you. Unless you've been chaining with the Poké Radar a lot.

Yea, the only shiny I got through the Poké Radar chaining was the Nincada; the Shinx and Zubat were just a random encounter without the Poké Radar o_O

With the exception of Red Gyrados I have never caught a shiny Pokemon. My sister has caught a lot of them though, just last week she caught a shiny Hoothoot in Pokemon Silver

I've never caught a shiny Pokémon with the exception of the Red Gyrados.

But then, I've never played Diamond/Pearl and didn't like Sapphire enough to play through it very much.

Found a shiny Flaafy in Silver back in 2002 or something. It's an Ampharos now, and is the sole reason I haven't yet restarted the game

I found a shiny Zubat a while back in Ruby's Seafloor Cavern.
It's now a pink Crobat in my Pearl game, and it's named "Strawberry".
Don't ask why I named it that. I just felt like it at the time.

I got one of those before I lost Pearl. It was awesome.

My only other non-red-Gyarados-or-AR'd shiny was an Oddish in gold.

(I did Pokeradar a shiny Houndoom in Pearl, but then I knocked it out trying to figure out if it had flash fire.

I had a shiny Pidgey in Silver, caught on that route before Olivine City. I trained him all the way up til level 100, only to have my save deleted when the battery ran out. Stupid clock system.

I also ran into a shiny Starley in Diamond. I couldn't catch him though, as the one I ran into was none other than the one that attacks you during the cutscene at the lake in the beginning of the game.
