Oh come on, AVGN is crap.

To begin with, this game has the most coherent NPCs ever.
Like, there's a dude asking "HEY DO YOU KNOW ABOUT DRACULA'S RIDDLE?". Gamers are used to NPCs saying "Oh yes I happen to know that very real story what you are looking for is in this dungeon nobody bothered to check". A real person would say "GO HIT YOUR HEAD WITH A GRAVEYARD DUCK IN A POISONOUS SWAMP TO LIVE LONGER what the fuck is this weirdo talking about".

I don't think most of his reviews are that serious... but yeah, it wasn't, but I think the flaws were worth bringing up. I liked a lot of the ideas and the gameplay of Castlevania II, but it was way, way, way too ridiculously cryptic. And the way the day/night system was executed was really annoying. If those really simple flaws were fixed I think the game would have been on par with the other two games in the original trilogy, and maybe even my favorite of them.

About to to play Borderlands for the first time. Got it today as a birthday present. Hopefully, I won't be as disappointed as I was with Fable II which I came out on my birthday last year. That was an alright game but the ending was very damn disappointing and it was a pretty short game if I wasn't an achievement hunter. :/

Also, yeah for finally reach 500 posts before my birthday comes to an end!

Well, now that I've finished FF1 GBA, I'm going to start J2E's Final Fantasy IV SNES fan-translation ^_^

They really fucked up the translation when they released FF4 in North America (as Final Fantasy II), so I'm playing the fan-translation... >_>
