I used to be an administrator over at PureZC (which uses some outdated version of Invision Power Board, which is all right I guess.) I know a bunch of julers do check there now and then, but I just can't ... relate to the demographic there anymore, and I haven't had any interest in Zelda Classic for several years. It was fine when I was like 14-18 years old, you know? But like ... eh. I kinda ... "grew out of it" I guess. I just realized yesterday that I'd been registered there for seven years. My first post there actually still exists, I think, in the public archive.
Hydra and Bloodstar had linked me to a few threads on jul before and I only registered last March, and only really felt the need to post one time then. A big board like this seemed rather intimidating. I am pleased that I haven't gotten on too many people's nerves so far.
I was a bigger (the emphasis is necessary) on PureZC than anyone has probably ever been stupid on a message board. I used to start feuds with Bloodstar and Bagel over probably the stupidest stuff ever. I think I seriously started more drama than any other member, probably because I was 14 and demanded attention and suffered from serious delusions of grandeur.
Yeah... I'm glad I waited until I'd grown up and matured a bit to start posting at an Acmlmboard. Lord knows if I'd ever live it down had I made that big of an ass of myself on a larger message board.

I think you're a pretty cool person now. Your posts are always pretty interesting, you're cool to talk to in IRC and we often end up saying/thinking the same things quite a bit of the time for some reason.
Anyway, it's 6:40am, I'll probably have to go to bed in a few minutes. Have fun overtaking me on the JCS while I sleep guys.

There were people who created MUCH larger issues; you were actually fairly tame compared to them. You did improve dramatically though.
PZC got hacked once or twice, then there were some ... other members that were generally trouble in general. Especially the reregs like zeldapro, August, herg ...
I sometimes wonder what happened to some of the oldbies. Cloud87 and his pineapples, Heh-Man and his ;[ face ...

I have noticed a lot of similarity between you and me, haha. You remind me of what I could have been when I was younger had I not turned out to be a huge douchebag. Basically, like an actually cool younger me.

Also ... August.
Oh, god, August.
He's been pestering me all day about, um, things. He actually just about made me dry heave earlier with his IMs. I'm not even exaggerating. If I could block him (that particular AIM account's privacy settings are messed up; go AOL, you own), I would, but instead I've just been having fun finding different ways to tell him off. It's surprisingly stress-relieving.

What? He's still doing this to you?
How long has he been bothering you like this? Years?!

Let's see... I think since I was almost 16, not long before I moved away from Boston... so, yeah, almost 3 years. Sigh.
He keeps changing identities and getting new AIM screennames, too. I can't even keep up anymore.

Or it could just be because the guy is a psychopath who is pretty dangerous for all we know, but man. Three years of ... I'm not sure if you can define it as trolling, but that's what I'll call it for now ... has to be some kind of record. That's really beyond creepy.

I'm pretty sure he does have a thing for me... I'm not kidding.
You know, it's kind of sad because he used to be pretty cool. Sometimes, he actually still can be, and that's part of why I still kept him around for a while--like we will actually have actual conversations about like operating systems or video games or whatever, and then he randomly starts doing creepy stuff. I don't even want to explain to you what happened today--I'm not even sure it's something I should even explain publicly.

After hanging around this long on the internet I am pretty sure that nothing could really be that shocking anymore, but knowing August, I tend to agree ... I don't really want to know and I don't think anyone else does, either.
