I used silver at first (never liked the Fisher-Price look or puke green), tried a few custom themes, switched back to classic (but later tried a few more custom themes), and now I'm still on classic

For cursors, I used the standard "3D Bronze" set for a long time (until last year), then copied old MacOS cursors (black arrow, watch, etc.) to use that instead

I rarely ever use custom themes... at least now.

Back in the day I used to use various theme by -KoL and the like. That was before Stardock decided to cripple WindowBlinds even more than it was.

AHHHHH

So many custom themes are extremely garish like that, especially older WindowBlinds themes which are really overdone and add thick black borders and bright gradients and hard to read fonts to everything. I can't stand those at all. I'd rather use bright blue Luna. This is just ... horrible.

So I did some math, and if all the posts from the JCS threads were in this thread, like more than half of the posts could be, this thread would be reaching 17000 posts by now.

I've been playing Terra's SMB1 hack for a bit, after the earlier discussion about it in the Gender Confusion thread. It's pretty nice.

I always get bored with SMB1 hacks pretty quickly though. It has to be something pretty impressive or modified past just simple levels/graphics to keep my attention.

I have a few which are pretty good in my NES ROMs folder.. Extra Mario Bros, SMB Giabbit Hunting, Super Kamikaze Mario, SMB All-Stars and Super Mario Evolution. I'm sure I must have XXXX somewhere too.. it has to be in a different folder though.

Cool

It's like my 7th or so SMB1 hack I tried to actually make the levels very different from the originals I don't know if you got that far, but I have a vine in a dungeon in there.

I just started on 1-4 since I keep getting sidetracked by posting here. I'll play more tomorrow It's different enough that it's held my interest for a bit more than most normal level hacks.

Yeah, and I made some subtle tweaks as well The enemies move a bit faster, the end-of-level score is a bit different, and so on.

But I'm the only human that lives in this room! And still dust comes out the wazoo.

The same thing happens here. You can leave any object out for 2-3 days and it will start getting dust on it. It's unbelievable.

Maybe the attic above me has something to do with this, since rarely anyone goes up there.

Perhaps you shed more skin than you think.

Also, skin cells from elsewhere in the house could be distributed through air currents and the AC and such.

Skin, pet dander, and if you have a lot of stuff, that will also cause a lot of dust.

It's not as creepy when you consider you make dust just by rubbing your arm.

Edit: Yay 11000th reply. :3

I got reply 9000 a month or so ago. Is this thread is really getting big fast, or is it just me being tired again?
