I used to get a lot of peple randomly hitting on my characters on RO, too... one even tried to force me into some vampire cult roleplaying thing which I played along with simply out of boredom.

I haven't seen anyone do this since 2007 or so, though, back when I was still on the (now semi-dead) Gateway desktop...

Oh right, I just remembered. This has happened to me.. somewhat.

I was playing Runescape with one of my friends. Her name was Lollipop5498945 or something like that, I don't remember exactly what. But anyway.. This person comes up to her and is all "can i have your lollipop" or something like that. So she sees me and is like "hi jan" (My IRL name; it looks female when typed but isn't pronounced the same way) and they're like "Jan can join in too". Much

I find them fun but I'm extremely picky. The only MMORPGs I've really liked are Runescape and Perfect World (only played it a few times though).

I've played a lot of non-RPG MMOs though. I've been on Furcadia for over 5 years. I wanted to try Second Life once but they wanted all my IRL info and they wanted me to verify my *free* account with a credit card.. so I was like NO.

Once when I played RO, some guy kept asking about masturbation and how exactly we did it. It totally randomly came up in party chat. I think Bloodstar was there, so he might remember. It was extremely awkward.

Ragnarok Online is the only MMORPG I've ever really legitimately enjoyed. Granted, I've only tried RO, Runescape, and Maple Story. Runescape bored me after a day and Maple Story was just terrible about grind.

Runescape was pretty fun; I played it for a few months. My membership ran out though so I can't play again.

If you thought RO's grinding was horrible, it's a good thing you didn't make it very far in Maple Story.

It's not nearly as bad on private servers, where you can usually freely warp from town-to-town and the leveling rates are usually increased somewhat (or a lot if it's a high-rate server).

... I'm so glad. I actually wasn't that interested in Maple Story but the BSODs were the thing that finally killed it for me.

I've always wanted to find a MMORPG I could play for a while and that didn't have a lot of stuff that bugs me. A lot of people hate on Runescape but it's probably my favourite MMORPG.

EDIT: As for MMOGs, Pangya used to be pretty terrible about levelling. It took me forever to reach Rookie B (Rookie is the lowest tier), but once the EXP needed to level up was reduced, I shot all the way up to Beginner C pretty quickly

We just mentioned multiple ones. MapleStory (horriffic grind, go to a private server), Ragnarok Online (private server plz), Runescape (free normally, have not seen a private server myself but they must be there), among others you can find...(Just released by the "makers" of MapleStory: Dungeon Fighter Online(why am I advertising that))

I'd play MapleStory again (private server or not) if I could just find some other people to play it with from here. Guess what: no chance

Yeah, the only pay one I've played is Runescape - and even then, it's free; the members version is just far better.

The others I've all played all have pay benefits or options but it's not required at all (Except for the WoW trial, but that sucked). I wouldn't be able to play a paid-only game.

Yeah well, things like flowers are always stereotyped as "girly" or whatever.

I don't even know my dad at all (The only thing I know about him is his first name) and everyone in my family except for my uncle is female.

Ironically enough, I live near Morocco (I can see it out of my window across the bay if the sky is clear) and my mom has been there before. It's just a short boat ride away.
