I have a couple actually. I don't have a personal favorite.
Yeah Tetris, even though I am not a huge fan of the videogame, I still love the music. Hell the tune is catchy, and if you hate this song: Then you are a huge faggot. You can make that tune to heavy metal, pop, and even techno. Don't tell me you hate that tune.
Second one comes from my most favorite song from the Metal Gear Solid series.
This plays during, and the end of Metal Gear Solid (Also during MGS4, for nostalgia. Which FUN FUCKING FACT. Made me cry when I heard it. Don't laugh at me). Such a beautiful song; in a way it fits. In the Alaskan feeling: this song just fucking fits. If you hate this song. I must say again that you are a faggot and I hate you. MGS is a beautiful game, and the music helps.
I listened to this many moons ago when I was high as hell (Thanks Platinum!) But this game whopped so much ass! The music was even greater than anything! If you never played this game, it's best you do right after you read this post: because it might change the way you look at RPG's. I don't care if you have to emulate the damn game!

It's hard just choosing only a few of the many videogame songs I like.
Some of my top ones include a lot of the songs by Jun Ishikawa for the Kirby series and various others that I can't think of right now. One Kirby song that sticks to my mind is the ones relating to Rock Star in Kirby 64.
I'm very disappointed nobody posted this yet. VERY disappointed. This would definitely be in my top 10 all-time if I put time into making an actual list.
Contra IV sold a trivial amount of copies in North America and it's a damn shame. You can tell there's a bit of classic Contra influence in the theme here, but it's a great fast-tempo way to start the game.
Colin reminded me of Iron Blue Intention. Incredible song, but it doesn't stack up to The Great Bath either,
...Now that I think of it, a LOT of Wario Land 2's music was great to me as well. I don't know of any other games with music by Ishikawa Kozue, though.
