I actually have an older account from the board's early days, which has lay dormant since late 2007 Basically, personal shit took me away from the board, that and a mysterious hacker who seemed out to get me. Then, when I returned I just registered another account rather than bugging Xk

Mysterious hacker... Seeing that makes me wonder exactly what it was.

That reminds me of the whole [citation needed] thing that happened on Board2. That was annoying but funny. Except when it deleted useful posts, I guess.

OK. It's been a while, but I'll try to recollect the events It was in November of 2007.

- My password got stolen, as did passwords for a few other members
- The board was deleted.
- Xk restarted the board a few times, I think as a temporary measure.
- I noticed that as soon as I made a post on the new incarnations, the board would get deleted again.
- I figured someone really didn't want me at Jul, so I stayed away to protect the board.

If that didn't happen, I may have stayed here continuously

... That's really strange. I think I'd have been pretty creeped out too if that happened to me.

The worst I've ever had is just beng messaged on Furcadia by trolls who hate me for stupid reasons. Pretty tame compared to what other people get like what you mentioned..

The one I previously went to had two warring factions, and the one I was more closely affiliated with started another forum. Didn't stay long for either, though. One was too nerdy and the other too jerkish.

That's basically how Acmlm's was, twice

In early 2007, it split into Acmlm's Board II (now board2) and ||board (now gone). Later the same year, ABII split into Jul and board2.
