The sudden spree at the end killed any chance for me to get 5th (I seriously can't keep up whenever that happens) ... but at the same time it allowed me to rank below 5th and get more points, so I should still be thankful

I mean I dropped from 4 to 9 behind 5th within 30 minutes, and I was posting too

Nobody's ever done a foxgirl, to my knowledge. And Disgaea's awesome, so... yeah.

Imagine how frustrated everyone might have been if we ended up with 399.

I can't keep up too well either, though for me it's less of being unable to post fast and more of connection bottlenecks.

That should end in a couple weeks at latest, though!

I'm bad at posting fast, so I have no idea how I made it today. Especially since most of my posts actually had a bunch of content in them. For me I just look at IRC and watch the posts in a thread scrolling past while I'm typing up a reply and it's like

I was having trouble keeping up, but that was mainly because of this REALLY FUCKING STUPID glitch in Firefox which causes blank white pages to randomly show up in place of everything in threads on Jul.

Luckily it doesn't happen in Opera! I waited until after the mini-spree to switch over, but it's not like I'd have gained anything from switching earlier, since even if I'd been posting faster, I'd probably have still ranked at 4th...

I can sort of keep up with sprees, but if I'm doing something else, I'll probably just miss the whole thing like today.

Jul Pub is just general discussion in 1 thread that drifts between topics. Back in the day, it was in the ACS thread (the JCS used to be the ACS), but people complained about it, so it got split off into the Acmlm's Town Square (I think that was the name) with the ACS thread only having ACS results and discussion rather than general discussion.

What's on YOUR mind? is just where you post random stuff about your day or what just happened in your life or anything else, pretty much.
