Paulguy's Post configuration I have start, some quick launch, systray, CPU, RAM monitors and time on the top. It's set to only be as wide as it needs to be and left justified and auto-hidden.
The bottom bar has the same placement settings, it only contains the task switcher. The dock on my mac laptop is just at the default position. ____________________ |

On my main computer:
Windows 7, 1680x1050. Placed at the bottom. One row, labels enabled, small icons, autohide. If I have a lot of windows open I'll pull it up to 2 rows. On my netbook: Windows XP, 1024x600. Placed at the bottom. One row, no grouping, no autohide. I'm used to bottom. I've tried changing, but it's really disorienting and just not as efficient for me - I like being able to see labels without having a large chunk of my screen space taken up. I usually don't have enough windows open to fill 1050 vertical pixels anyway so it's a waste of space for me. ____________________ Currently reorganising my site's public_html folder.
