One time I had the stomach flu in summer. Needless to say, while I didn't throw up, my stomach was in a lot of pain and there were some... surprises.

That was 7th grade when I would have walked on fire to get out of Mr. Kartheiser's biology class.

You can tell a teacher is going to be really boring and/or a hardass based on the name. XD

Never faked sick to get out of any work... had to really cover for someone on a team project once when he had laryngitis. :\ Work was complete but I needed to carry the oral presentation.

Yes, the dreaded Mr. Kartheiser.

He played country "music" in the class, usually the same 2 songs over and over. His basic teaching style was putting notes on the overhead projector and having us copy them. We had to define like 30 words a chapter for homework. We had to draw things, and we lost points if we weren't good artists It was a science class, not an art class. We had to copy multiple-choice questions, answer them, and explain why we thought the answer was right and each of the other 3 answers were wrong.

His catchphrase was something like "I'd rather be out bow-hunting".

That sounds like a nightmare. I'm lucky to not have teachers like that...

The worst any of my teachers had made my class do was read a chapter of a textbook and take notes for each section of the chapter.

I did that too, except the fire blew out of my ass about 30 minutes later.

As for my condition. I am feeling a lot better. The disinfection was a success...except for the mucus in my lungs, that is still a problem. I have slowed down on my smoking, and it's starting to help out. At least I am not coughing up large amounts of snot anymore. Now it's an easy cough.

I'm stuck in constant sickness. I suffer from a combination of IBS and hypochondria. This means that if I don't occupy myself with SOMETHING, I feel nauseated. I usually have trouble not feeling nauseated, and the only time I don't is if I just forget about it completely. But thanks to my hypochondria, if I remember it exists (like right now), I'll feel slightly sick. This is especially insanely bad if I get a stomach flu or something. Most people get over the stomach flu in a day or two, but it takes me nearly a month just because the psychological effects will hang around.

Ugh. I drink a LOT of Gingerale and Sprite.
