Out of the 1100+ members here, currently around 117 have a minipic. (Yes, I counted.) For those that have them, why did you pick the one you have? (Some are obvious, like mine, and several others.) Or for those without one, did you ever have one/want one?

Mine was a quick solution to a minipic by Google search.

I've never had a minipic I want one though.

I wanted to use a sprite of Terra, but those are 24*16 which is too big Maybe I'll think of something else to use as a minipic

My minipic, "The :< Dagger" was made for another Acmlm forum that had icons for most items in the item shop. I was hoping it would be used (it never was though.)

I use the :< smily a lot so I thought, "might as well use it as minipic, it's not like I have anything better"

I'm carrying this little staff, a simple rip from Tactics Ogre, since I registered on Acmlm's Board back in 2002. It could be shrunk normally, without losing too much detail - and just fits if you registered as "GandalfTheGrey" [...]

It's a little animated pearl I made pretty much around the time I joined. The old size was 11x11, so I had to add empty space around it when it changed to 16x16. Hopefully, it will help people remember how to pronounce my name.

Xkeeper turned everyone's minipics into a mathematical 'empty set' or 'does not exist' sign. So I just pixel edited that into an M and have been using it ever since.

Same file name and everything.

I remember when minipics used to be the oddball size of 11*11. I think 16*16 is better because a lot of 8- and 16-bit video game images are 16*16.
