Some of the bigger games this weekend:
17Auburn @ Arkansas - I'll take the upset pick on this one: Arkansas
3Alabama @ 20Ole Miss - I think 'Bama rolls.
Wisconsin @ 9Ohio State - I think Ohio State's dominant D-Line out-muscles Wisconsin's O-Line.
13Oregon @ UCLA - I'll go with UCLA on this one. Unlike Oregon's first loss, no one will get punched.
1Florida @ 4LSU - Florida. I don't see LSU winning this game at all.
22Ga. Tech @ Florida State - Georgia Tech, throwing more onto Bowden's shoulders.
Michigan @ 12Iowa - Hopefully Iowa takes this one, setting up a Big Ten battle of the unbeatens (in conference) later on.

Smart, they're rolling Auburn 34-16 with a few seconds left in the 3rd.

(..as I type that, it's 34-23. Uh-oh.)

VT is blowing BC out of the water. That saddens me.

Well, I called the only upset of the weekend. I was wrong about Oregon/UCLA, but that was my only wrong pick.

Ohio State managed to win despite having 14 less first downs (22-8), half as many yards (368-184), and 25 less minutes of possession (42:47-17:13). In fact, our defense outscored Wisconsin, whose only touchdown came on a field goal fake. I think we have one of the best defenses in the country.

Edit: The new AP poll is out. Bama jumps Texas to become the new #2, LSU drops to #10, and OSU jumps Cincinnati to #7.

Hm... if Virginia Tech runs the table, would they have a good shot at the BCS Championship? I mean, either Florida or Alabama has to lose, and Texas could very well lose to Oklahoma...

The SEC desires that Florida do well this year.

Hence all the BS calls by the refs today.

Also, a big hearty LOL to Virginia Tech and Kansas. And a YAY to those crazy Idaho Vandals who are now officially bowl eligible.

I was at the Florida v Arkansas game and that was freakin' intense. That, and I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and near the end of the game, th sun set and it became freakin' COLD.

I believe it was one of their cornerbacks, but in any case, I feel bad for the team, community and family. My condolences to them.
