The crater that got bombed is the big one right in the center.

A close up of the crater.

The final moments of the observation craft.

One of the morning shows in my area was covering this and they were disappointed when there wasn't a huge explosion. I still thought it was interesting though .

Apparently it happened at 3:15 my time. I don't know, but whatever. There'll be awesome videos of it anyways.

Don't make friends with the Redshirts, they just end up dying. You'll only be hurting yourself in the end.

Juts my opinion, but people are going too far with this kind of thing. Its nice too look at moons/planets and do a few things with them, but there is a point where it gets rediculous. The day they start to build on the moon/other planets is the day we screw up the solar system beyond repair.

You think too highly of the influence of humans.

Who said I'm fully human? I don't even know 100% on this...

No, I just don't like what people have done. Call me odd, but I think like that.

Might I ask how that would "screw up the solar system beyond repair", and might I also ask what you would define "screwing up the solar system beyond repair" as anyway?

My definition of "screwing up the solar system beyond repair" would involve killing everybody, among other spectacularly destructive things, and seeing that we've been able to do that part alone for quite a while, yet we haven't, I doubt that it'll happen as our society continues to develop.

As in, crowding it up and filling it with trash, and people may eventually turn on people from other planets/moons, and could start interplanetary wars.

I doubt it will ever get to be like that though. I'd just rather have everyone on one planet that scattered on others not meant for us to put our stuff on. Once again, just my opinion.

Back to people looking for water on the moon by bombing it, I guess.

I went through a phase sort of like this for a bit. When I was, like, 13. Rest assured, you're definitely human. :|

I think people aren't getting that it was a joke yet... I know what I am, but someone saying I'm focused on human impact made me want to say something random. So, yep.

At this time, the only thing we're capable of ruining is our own planet. No other planet that we know of has an ecosystem for us to mess up, so garbage would only mildly discolor the surface after it piles up enough. Any bomb we toss at any planet doesn't compare to the impact of a good-sized asteroid, which are wandering around the galaxy and smacking into things all the time. Compare the size of the crater our spacecrafts hit to any of the other craters.

I'm in now way advocating galactic littering or anything, but the point is we couldn't do much unless we really really really really tried.

Yes.

We should totally stay in one, easily destroyed place.
