Pretty much everyone in Australia has a bandwidth limit of some sort. Most ISPs deal with things by packet shaping you if you go over.

I could really care less about bandwidth limits though. I don't have a problem with my current limit and I seldom go over it.

I have a limit, it sucks. Sucks even more that everyone in this thread that has one goes like "it's not really enforced", my ISP just charges you ridiculously high prices per GB when you go overboard.

It's more like 1.5-2.0GB/day, really.

But even then, most plans give you upwards of 500GB/month, so it's not like it's critical anyway.

Yeah.

When I had cable I had 15GB, but I didn't know about it at first. They were very lenient about it and didn't so much as warn me until I hit 100GB (thanks, BitTorrent), and they assumed it was a virus. I switched to DSL with no limit after that.
I don't know what I have here, but if there is a limit, I've probably destroyed it a few times.

Same here... I've never had problems with bandwidth limits, though I suppose part of that has to come from not really downloading large files that often.
