turned out over half my HD space was taken up by text logs of allowed access attempts. 25.3 GB of allowed access attempts.

Finding out a 50GB HD has only 108MB of space left isn't pleasant.

Interesting... I had a similar experience, with a Playstation emulator that was apparently saving all my gameplay in AVI files without my notice... the HDD on that PC went from 75% free to 0% in about a week
