So I've already made plans to go out of town Oct. the 30th. But I'm curious who else is going to go see this, whether it be in town where you live or out of town for the weekend? Hell, how many of you have actually seen the movie in a theater? This'll be my first time, and I'm kinda excited.

For those of you who have no clue what I'm going on about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rocky_Horror_Picture_Show

If you're curious about showings near you: http://www.rockyhorror.com/ has a search engine for lookin' for showings.

Anyway, any advice that those of you who have seen the movie in a theater would be willing to provide to a "virgin"?

Seeing the movie in a theater, and going to a local live showing of it. I'm hoping for general tips for the first-time theater goer, for both the stage show and the movie.

I know they have a showing here every saturday night at some theatre. I've always been tempted to go and would think it would be a good time but don't know if any of my friends would be comfortable going.

Start learning the words to Time Wrap now.

Good to learn the dance as well.

Most importantly, you need to learn the steps to the Time Warp!

1. (It's just a) JUMP TO THE LEFT, with hands UP.
2. A STEP TO THE RIGHT (Time-Warper ANNETTE FUNICELLO suggests a very WIDE step.)
3.* (With your hands on your HIPS) YOU BRING YOUR KNEES IN TIGHT.
4. (Then) THE PELVIC THRUST (if repeated FIVE times, it nearly drives you insa-a-ane)
5. HIPSWIVEL (if not driven insa-a-ane by step four)
6. LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!

* Those with LIMB DISABILITIES may find it necessary to ALTER or DELETE this action, but NO EXCUSES for alterations to steps four and five.

Ha! The song is in my head now.

I'm trying to find a good video on it, but I can't.

We don't have much for Halloween around here so I think I will sit home at the PC just like usual.

I have yet to see this film. I've wanted to see it for quite sometime now, but I know no one who would be willing to watch it with me.
