My family got into that a few years ago after going to some chinese restaurant enough times, even made some at home since then ... I actually don't mind it, it's a bit weird at first but gets better after that

I like cooked sushi myself. But I don't think I ever tried it fried. The best I like is salmon and cream cheese. With a bit of avocado in and on the top like shells with secret sauce. Mmmm.

I tried to stay away from it until about seven years ago. Then I didn't have any until I started this job and the sushi chef is amazing!

Chefs in those sorts of restaurants are cool. I have never even thought shrimp was blue until I went to... the Fuji restaurant I think. And I have NEVER would have guessed 'japanese ketchup' was soy sauce.

Albeit it is quite a while ago when I ate it last, I like sushi, especially the maki variants. And as you take gari leafs between each roll to neutralize the taste, you actually can mix different variants and eat them in no specific order, without affecting the taste

Of course it needs to be fresh. I would never bother to buy frozen sushi, even if people tell that the food standards and laws in Germany are quite strict (there were scandals with unsuitable meat for humans). Here in Berlin are some quite good sushiya, along with a good Kirin really tasty. Although I'd like to taste some "real" sushi in Japan, whenever I will have the opportunity to get there.
