PHP generated the individual frames, then fed them to Gifsicle, much like most of my other animated GIFs these days.

OK, when I first registered at the place called Acmlm's Board, a member named "witeasprinwow" handed me something called "Acmlm pills"

Since then, I've sold almost everything I own to feed my pill habit. I lived under the highway overpass just outside of downtown in a refrigerator carton for years

You're not supposed to accept pills from people over the internet! Especially if they spell "pills" with a 1 in it and prefix it with the word "ch34p".

For a while, my desktop background was some PETSCII graphics characters taken from a BASIC program on a C64 emulator. Basically diagonal lines that make right angles.

Mine wasn't too bad, but the colours were more muted and the image may have been rather pixelated. (I think I lost it in 2006 when I reformatted my HD)

Use a higher resolution or move icons closer to each other to instantly free up disk space

When I was 9 and new to computers, I thought MB meant "memory" (it sort of does, but ...), and a few other silly things, but not that


That background would be quite distracting here with my dark color scheme, although a darker version of it (if still effective) could probably work ... but I'm not so sure I'd want that
