...one star.

Your milage may vary, but I found it remarkably boring to watch.

So small is the new comment tag eh?

I would have to agree with you on that though. Sure it is cool to see that the game can be beaten in one star, however it also is kinda dull seeing him fly through only 3 stages. 4 Counting that horrible water level. I just hate water levels..

I like the 120 star run more than this, it was cool watching him zoom around the stages.. :]

I'd rather see a non glitched run that took ages. That just seemed so buggy it wasn't funny.

Try looking at the 120-star run. It's still buggy and glitched, but not in a way that it skips everything interesting.

I wonder what a run that exploited no glitches would be like...

...

I'd assume that it'd look like the run on Speed Demos Archives. T_T

Oh nevermind, that must have been a different board.

Agreed on boredom. Like I said, it was just on the "bad" line where too much was skipped, making it boring, but not enough was skipped to make the fact that he skipped everything the entertaining part (see: http://tasvideos.org/919M.html).

Or Link's Awakening glitchfest, or Zelda II, or countless others..

Don't post that opinion on Nesvideos though, they'll explode at you!

I saw it and it was entertaining the first time, but the only thing that would warrant a rewatch would be the first bowser stage. Damn that glitching was awesome!

There are some glitched runs that are entertaining. The rockman tas where rockman zooms around the levels is fun to watch.. yet the other ones are boring to me.

That is the only run I can think of...

I got around to watching this after the 120-star-TAS. This one was okay... The climax of the video would have to be Bowser in the Dark World. After that, it got pretty boring.

The 120 run, however, was a lot more entertaining. Despite being over 80 minutes, it's worth watching (well, in my book).

I dunno... Bowser in Fire Sea was pretty Epic, y'know with the getting the ass burned so that he could land in the spiral.

Classic.

I'm waiting for TASes that are something like "Super Mario 64 beaten with R.O.B. reprogrammed" so that they can start amazing me...They are cool when they pull off crazy stuff, but most of the time they bore me.
