I like to curse. I do it a lot, whenever I know no one around me is getting judgmental about it.

But there's a problem, that I only realized recently. There aren't actually any good swear words. They all seem to be blasphemies, biological, or both. And everything that isn't in one of those categories is a shortened and/or softened form of one that is. Even if I'm able to get over this and convince myself that it's totally fine, I've still been using the same core set of invectives for so long that I am overdue for a change.

So far, I've been subsisting on cursing in other languages (Japanese, mostly), but this sometimes fails to get the point across and also can give the impression that I know more of a language than I really do.

So: Recommend me some new swear words!

	I prefer clever made-up or "fake" swears, myself, since I never use the real ones (just how I was raised, I guess). I believe most of them would fall into your "shortened and/or softened form" category, though. So, uh, this post was pretty much worthless. Farking shazbutt! ____________________

I'm not very imaginative with swearing. I usually use weird permutations of swear words like "fuckerpants" or German translations of swear words, like "Scheiße".

Also for years I used math to swear. Just yell "cotangent" a few times, really rolls off the tongue. But I actually enjoy math so it seems a little disrespectful.

I was trying to think of some science-y ones but nothing really comes to mind =(

"Homogeneous" for adjectives and "flagellum/flagella" for noun/nouns are personal favorites when it comes to that, for some reason.

I think I've done that before too

I grew up in a traditional environment where people didn't swear around the children, so I thought the @$%&! stuff was swearing
