| Damn, that reminds me that I still need to fix my one SNES controller with the broken Start and Select buttons. Like, the buttons themselves, not the circuit board. And then find new screws the exact same type to screw back in, since all of them are now fubar.
But I did open up my PSX yesterday. I wanted to take a picture of the board, but I got a little scared trying to take off the plate, gave up, put everytihing back together, and did an image search on Google. The only image of a PSX board, and there's terrible lens glare in one corner. X( ____________________  |

Heh, I actually fixed my Gamecube controller a month or two ago. You know how that over time, you start losing control with the control stick? Well, I didn't want to go out and buy a new one, so I decided to take it apart and clean it there. Since I don't have a tri-wing, I had to use a hairpin to get the screws out. When I cleaned it and put it back together (with black rubber bands for ease until I get around to buying a screwdriver for it) the controller was working extremely well, and I've yet to have characters move by themselves or menus go through themselves! 
I should really get the gamebit while I'm at it, but I have a budget right now, so I can't buy it now. Christmas gift? ;D ____________________ |

| I googled the Basic Stamp after watching that video and it seems like a pretty nifty device. Given what I'm currently studying (Comp sci and EE) this thing (plus a carrier board, naturally) looks pretty appealing for dicking-around purposes (which means seeing what kinds of bizarre shit i can do with USB/serial peripherals) ____________________  |
