I haven't worked with python sockets in a while so there's still some problems related to blocking (which is why it misses messages)

It seems to work well and fast like the real Tina, at least


I made a bot (in C++) with its own minimal IRC client that ran serverside for post reporting, I think board2 still uses a modified version of it

Then MillyBot is about the same but in PHP and with different functionality, but could probably do it easily enough too ...

The new bot is written in python (natch) and seems to have a pretty low footprint.
