I was reading Darkdata's birthday thread, and I got the idea to ask what everyone's zodiac sign was, since there was a bit of a discussion in there.

I happen to be a Taurus myself, being born on May 15. Dad's an Aries, all three half-sisters are Leos, and my mom's a Scorpio. No wonder I get along so well with my sisters and not so much my mom (I like her, but sometimes she can grate my nerves).

I'm an Aquarius (born February 1) and after doing some research, I've found out that I share pretty much nothing in common with the description of what Aquariuses' personalities are supposed to be like in astrology--the only things I share in common with the Aquarius is that I am pretty eccentric and have a bit of a temper. I share more in common with Cancer, and that's, like, almost on the other side of the year from when I was born.

I think astrology is pretty much nonsense, but I actually know a few people who are really into it, so whatever.

I think I started posting when I was ... 11?

But I didnt have any idea that I was already posting that time... just thought that, that message board was not a message board but a chatroom with flashy backgrounds and long messages.

And I just discovered the meaning of online message board when I was 13( i think my 14th b-day was already near when I discovered it, so I considered it 14, not 13, but technically, I was 13 that time).

I think I discovered boards way back in 2001 when I was looking at a series of polls on a Sid Meier's Civilization Web site, and they had comments at least for some of them. I noticed that the last poll was a while back, and there was a link to their board for more. Then, I examined the board and took note of how message boards worked

It was a while before I joined a board though. I think that was Challenge Games (an old ROM hacking Web site) in January 2002 because I was releasing a hack and they needed a board account for that

But to be honest there is to much bullshit going around about the zodiac sign all the time. They are not even accurate to the star signs anymore IIRC.

I think by now they're offset by approximately one full sign I don't seriously believe in astrology or anything, I think it's all in fun
