![]() Pilotwings editor I'm currently working on. Right now it's just a test thing made with Visual C#, but who knows. Maybe some day, it will grow out to something solid...? Right now all it can do is edit the titlescreen palette, which isn't much... ![]() But at least you can create horrible things such as this! ![]() Pilotwings kind of sucks though, in that the sprite palettes that are loaded in the titlescreen are (mostly) also used in levels! (Just look here. I changed the green palette to a blue one, palette C. Normally, these rings are green.) So to make a true custom palette system, I guess I will have to build an ASM hack in. Ah well, then that will be my next step... I would probably have to do that eventually, either way. |

| Well, I'm still learning the very basics of N-SPC and using a lot of Addmusic's code. With minimal adjustments, it can be compatible with multiple games as long as seperate insertion tools are written. For Mario Kart, songs are stored at $D000 in the SPC RAM, I wonder if that's similar for other games aswell? MathOnNapkings has recently posted some really nice documentation of the Zelda N-SPC engine in a romhacking.net thread, including a commented disassembly, which has motivated me to try working on this. If you don't mind, I may send you a PM another hour to clarify a few things, I still have to look more into actual N-SPC tracks to understand some other details. |
