It yells within the first 15 minutes of the game. It is Game of the Year. Move over Scribblenauts >8)

But seriously. It has been dumped, and while most cards are having troubles with it even with the anti piracy patch/codes, it is so far awesome. The script is obviously crafted by one of us so far.

I think not. Does M&L3 have a philosoraptor? I thought not.

I've played a lot of Scribblenauts so far, and it's just not doing it for me. I thought it would be better, but there is just no motivation beyond the novelty to actually play it. And that novelty wears off when you've thought of everything you can think of.

I saw a commercial for this game the other day. I liked the original Mario & Luigi and didn't play any of the other sequels, but this one looks interesting enough. Might try it out if I'm so inclined, but I haven't been so hot on RPGs as of late.

I completely agree. it's an interesting gimmick, but it doesn't live up to the hype and is not game actually worth purchasing. much like 'drawn to life'.

Good thing, the sequel was just another stupid gimmick involving Nintendo's latest fad, babies

It doesn't help that M&L2 got so dark and dreary. It didn't have any of the same wacky, cartoony spirit that the first one had. Playing the Japanese version of this gave me that same vibe that the first game had. That's definitely a Very Good Thing (tm).

Weighted Storage Cube Dispenser
Cake Slice
Playing the japanese version of this (Replaced my M3DSS firmware with YSMenu), and it's pretty damn funny. I can't tell at all what any of the characters are saying, but then again it's a mario game. You beat people up, break their shit, and move on to the next victim.

Maybe the ad was for a messed-up version of Kirby.

One good thing about Scribblenauts, though - the word list is gigantic. Someone put in an extremely complex dinosaur name and the game generated a dinosaur. Can't wait to try both although it looks like Nintendo did a decent job piracy-wise.

I wonder if I should try this game I've never played any of the Mario & Luigi series. I don't know why I didn't pick up the first one.

I'm currently playing though Partners in Time for the first time, and I can confidently say that it's at least on par with its prequel. Both games are part of a very small group of games that have made me involuntarily laugh on multiple occasions, and both are RPGs which I can actually stomach. Besides, the gimmick wasn't really "babies" so much as it was "time travel", which I hardly think is an issue.

Anyway, as I've mentioned before, this game looks quite appealing to me, so I'll definitely get this as soon as I can.

I really like the gameplay in the mario RPGs as it really feels like you have a much bigger roll in battles then just selecting the moves for your party.
I'm not a big fan of the story of this one from what I have read. But I will give it a good go once it comes out in a few days!

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time a great deal of humor and very creative environments & enemies, but unfortunately the gameplay was somewhat lacking. I still give it a though.

I remember laughing and giggling so much when Kamek saw the Mario Bros. (Yoshi's Island is one of my favorite games.)

I can't wait for MLBIS and Scribblenauts! I'll probably get them both next weekend.

Going to get the third game for sure on release date, so I am quickly trying to finish up Partners in Time(I'm still at the end).

Oh, yeah, another thing about MLPT is the ridiculous boss battles. Since you have access to the potentially powerful Bros. Items, they give bosses insane amounts of HP. The boss of Gritzy Caves has almost 1000 HP. When you tally all the final boss battles together, it gives you a grand total of 8500 HP that you have to whittle down, not including healing...

I know a few people who still haven't defeated the final boss.
