I was browsing another forum and found a neat thread with a link to a website that helps determine your personality types. It's a pretty short quiz with some basic questions and potential answers that are measured on a scale of accuracy to your own behavior and tendencies. The results are, surprisingly, actually pretty accurate!

Here are my own...

Individual percentages:

Introverted (I) 56.1% Extroverted (E) 43.9%

Intuitive (N) 51.92% Sensing (S) 48.08%
Feeling (F) 57.78% Thinking (T) 42.22%
Perceiving (P) 58.54% Judging (J) 41.46%

Results:

INFP - "Questor". High capacity for caring. Emotional face to the world. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 4.4% of total population.

INFP:
creative, smart, idealist, loner, attracted to sad things, disorganized, avoidant, can be overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings, prone to quitting, prone to feelings of loneliness, ambivalent of the rules, solitary, daydreams about people to maintain a sense of closeness, focus on fantasies, acts without planning, low self confidence, emotionally moody, can feel defective, prone to lateness, likes esoteric things, wounded at the core, feels shame, frequently losing things, prone to sadness, prone to dreaming about a rescuer, disorderly, observer, easily distracted, does not like crowds, can act without thinking, private, can feel uncomfortable around others, familiar with the darkside, hermit, more likely to support marijuana legalization, can sabotage self, likes the rain, sometimes can't control fearful thoughts, prone to crying, prone to regret, attracted to the counter culture, can be submissive, prone to feeling discouraged, frequently second guesses self, not punctual, not always prepared, can feel victimized, prone to confusion, prone to irresponsibility, can be pessimistic

favored careers:
poet, painter, freelance artist, musician, writer, art therapist, teacher (art, music, drama), songwriter, art historian, library assistant, composer, work in the perfoming arts, art curator, playwrite, bookseller, cartoonist, video editor, photographer, philosopher, record store owner, digital artist, cinematographer, costume designer, film producer, philosophy professor, librarian, music therapist, enviromentalist, movie director, activist, bookstore owner, filmmaker

disfavored careers:
business professional, manager, executive, administrator, business owner, supervisor, office manager, business analyst, financial analyst, public relations manager, ceo, executive assistant, judge, event coordinator, lawyer, office worker

It's really about a half-and-half for me here. The description elements really fit me spot-on with a few exceptions, but at the same time I consider myself pretty adept at organization of others—having been a pretty strong administrator of several communities over the years and the ringleader of several projects—making positions such as administration more fitting than not. Pretty impressive turnout, though!

Feel free to post your own results, if you please.

Yea, INTP. I'm no architect and I think I'm fairly judgmental, but from that judgment I tend to Perceive... It's kinda' acurate, but I prefer the traditional personality tests. I'll find a link to one later.

I had a personality test in one of my college classes. :/
I was judged an ISFP. Think that I had though I was going to get an INF? combination before I seen the results, but I can't guarantee that.

Hold on, I'll take the link's test. (Posts and edits later)

EDIT: Yep, it said INFP. Is that what makes up Jul today?

Introverted (I) 77.78% (Absolutely.)
Intuitive (N) 52.63% (Tipped the scales.)
Feeling (F) 50% (wut)
Perceiving (P) 60% (Enough to look clear.)

I haven't done one of these in a while. Lets see what I get.

HEY! 48 questions isn't short.

Your type is: INFJ

Introverted (I) 60.61%
Extroverted (E) 39.39%
Intuitive (N) 61.29%
Sensing (S) 38.71%
Feeling (F) 51.35%
Thinking (T) 48.65%
Judging (J) 52.94%
Perceiving (P) 47.06%

INFJ - "Author". Strong drive and enjoyment to help others. Complex personality. 1.5% of total population.

Complex personality? Yea, that sounds about right actually. Heh, and I'm part of 1.5%? Spiffy. No majority for me.

creative, smart, focus on fantasy more than reality, attracted to sad things, fears doing the wrong thing, observer, avoidant, fears drawing attention to self, anxious, cautious, somewhat easily frightened, easily offended, private, easily hurt, socially uncomfortable, emotionally moody, does not like to be looked at, fearful, perfectionist, can sabotage self, can be wounded at the core, values solitude, guarded, does not like crowds, organized, second guesses self, more likely to support marijuana legalization, focuses on peoples hidden motives, prone to crying, not competitive, prone to feelings of loneliness, not spontaneous, prone to sadness, longs for a stabilizing relationship, fears rejection in relationships, frequently worried, can feel victimized, prone to intimidation, lower energy, strict with self

Wow, some things in there are actually the opposite of me. I'm very, very competitive, I don't scare easily, I used to be prone to crying when I was younger and I don't have low energy. Well, on some days, but it isn't the majority. The rest is pretty dead on.

Favored careers: psychotherapist, artist, art curator, bookstore owner, freelance writer, poet, teacher (art, drama, english), library assistant, professor of english, painter, novelist, book editor, copywriter, philosopher, environmentalist, bookseller, museum curator, opera singer, magazine editor, archivist, music therapist, screenwriter, film director, creative director, librarian, social services worker, art historian, sign language interpreter, photo journalist, makeup artist, photo journalist, homemaker

disfavored careers: airline pilot, race car driver, businessman, information technology consultant, executive, administrator, supervisor, bartender, lab technician, restaurant owner, strategist, ceo, bar owner, marketing specialist, business consultant

I was actually going to try to get a bartender's license a couple of years ago. I wouldn't mind being a race car driver. actually. Those cares are safer than the ones on the road.

The INFP job list seems to fit me. I want to be a writer and/or a teacher My creativity got me into ROM hacking and, by extension, Acmlm's in the first place. Since this was once mostly a ROM hacking community and has a lot of artists in general, I'm not surprised that there are many similar personality types

fears doing the wrong thing, cautious, second guesses self, frequently worried, strict with self

These are a few reasons as to why it takes me so long to post/write in the SF/SB. In the past, it was a tad easier, but for some reason these days, it takes me so long to finally get something something out.

I'm the same type as Tweaker.

INFP - "Questor". High capacity for caring. Emotional face to the world. High sense of honor derived from internal values. 4.4% of total population.

Introverted (I) 69.44%
Intuitive (N) 57.5%
Feeling (F) 62.86%
Perceiving (P) 54.05%

Judging (J) 45.95%
Sensing (S) 42.5%
Thinking (T) 37.14%
Extroverted (E) 30.56%

prone to quitting
Is this why I can never seem to any of my projects finished?

acts without planning
Ever since I went back to college, I have been planning more and getting more organized/extroverted, but yeah I'm really a "planner".

low self confidence
This used to be me, but I really don't think of myself like that anymore. I do have bouts of it though especially when regarding certain things.

overwhelmed by unpleasant feelings, prone to feelings of loneliness, daydreams about people to maintain a sense of closeness, focus on fantasies, emotionally moody, can feel defective, can sabotage self, sometimes can't control fearful thoughts, prone to crying, prone to regret, can be submissive, wounded at the core, feels shame
Yeah, and those certain thing would happen to be my (non-existent, drama filled) love life.

prone to dreaming about a rescuer
See love life. This was me for about 10 years.

loner, solitary, likes esoteric things, familiar with the darkside, attracted to sad things, likes the rain, can be pessimistic
And this is why I'm into goth shit.

prone to irresponsibility
This is the one thing in that whole list that I feel is not me. Usually, I'm the only who's always getting stuck with all the responsibility. I'm probably the most responsible person in my family.

The careers hit me spot on too. I know I want to do something art related. I'm actually working toward becoming a freelance designer, or at least getting some sort of career involving photoshop. I'm studying Interactive Multimedia right now, not sure where I'll go with it. I'm also into philosophy, writing, music, cinematography, and books though I don't think I want a career in any of those fields. I also hate the career they said I hate. I don't want anything to do with management, big business, public relations, law, or finances.

tl;dr This thing hit me spot on!

More or less correct. Only place it's missing is I do like the weird and surreal which ESTJ apparently can't tolerate too much. Of course if you look at the scores, I'm pretty close to the middle on E vs. I, and tend to flip between them depending on my mood, hence you could consider me sort of a fusion of ESTJ and ISTJ.

Wow, it's the opposite of Tweaker's result.
