Starting tomorrow actually, and I know we have some people here who are in, or live near BCS schools. So that's a good thing. (I know for sure we have Ohio State and Virginia Tech represented off the top of my head.)

So who's everyone supporting this year, how do you think the season's going to go... post your thoughts here. Hopefully this thread can break 20 posts by January. XD

I haven't even thought of who I'll support this year, but if Boise State can beat Oregon tomorrow... I'll be tempted to jump on that wagon.

And screw Notre Dame.

I guess you could consider me a Ducks fan, though the Beavers are closer (I live in Medford, a few miles away from SOU). I guess I'm predisposed to favor the Ducks in a higher fashion as my name is Jeremiah Johnson, the same name of the star quarterback. I've even been asked for my autograph by some idiots that don't know that he's a well black dude with the physique of a tank and I'm an out-of-shape albino goth!

Well, Blount embarrassed the Ducks pretty badly. And then he punched a guy. (ba dum tish)

Anyway, I get to work 12am-8am at the 7-11 two blocks away from the 'Shoe. Blarg.


After that, I'm heading home, so I won't be in Columbus for the opener, but I'll watch it in the bar with my dad. We all know who this is a warm-up for...

I don't see him having any problems getting into the NFL later on, if he's really talented. I mean, Micheal Vick is back...Ricky Williams....etc....

I read somewhere that he was possibly a 1st or 2nd round pick.

Behavior problems + no playtime in his senior year = other people passing him. Even if he makes the NFL, he just lost some cash.

I bet NSNick was sweating bullets yesterday when Navy was actually competing with "The" Ohio State University.

I'm a Jayhawk (Kansas University), and they took care of business as expected yesterday. The should be going into their big games (Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, Nebraska, and Missouri), sitting at 6-0, if not we're in for a long season. Actually OU isn't scaring me (even with Bradford back), their offensive line looked horrible. I wouldn't doubt if Bradford gets hurt again, he was way too spoiled with not having to avoid pressure at all last year and then having a brand new line this year.

And as far as Blount, there are all kinds of thugs in the NFL, I'm sure punching a guy after the game isn't going to keep him out of the NFL if he has the talent.

He's definitely not going to be a 2nd/3rd round pick missing his whole senior year, though. :\ Late rounds, maybe a tryout...

The ACC is going to be AWFUL this year... Duke loses to Richmond, Virginia loses to WILLIAM AND MARY (!!!)... absolutely pathetic. I know everyone says that Boston College should finally have a bad year but given the crappy ACC results from yesterday, I fully expect them to be bowl-eligible with 6-7 wins now.

But other than that, I'm still in rage over how TCM was taken off the air by Comcrap for the Big Ten Network. Not going to let that ruin the season for me, but there are 10 sports channels already in the basic cable package.

In case you haven't heard, Ohio State's playing USC tonight. I'm not too optimistic, but you never know. However, the worst part is that I have to work at 7-11 starting at 11pm, right when the game gets out. For reference, here is where I work (A) in proximity to the stadium:
