When I was cleaning out some of my unused processes in Windows Task Manager a few days ago, I noticed I had something running called TSAdBot.exe . This name sounded ominous so I searched on Google about what it was. Some of the results said it was from Microsoft, others said it was spyware that should be removed. I had this same program on my old laptop, so I figured it might be tied to some software that I installed on both machines.

Do you know anything about this? Is this something I should be concerned about?

"A horrible person". That's what it says. "A horrible person."

We weren't even testing for that.

Adware.TSAdbot is an adware component, which connects to an advertisement server of Conducent Technologies, downloads new advertisements and displays flashing ad banners and full screen ads. This adware may also record your Web browser history, cache files, and other personal information.

In other words, you should probably try to get rid of it, even if you don't notice any side effects.

If you have any other problems with processes, check this site out http://www.processlibrary.com. It may not help too much with this problem, but I thought to tell you this so you would have more options in the future.

Gah, I was going to put that up! I always use that site if I find something I don't know, useful as heck.
