Ok, for all those adventurous guys who want to fiddle with this: There is a new ml_ipod at URL submitted by user.. It removes the iTunesCDB during sync.

So the process should be (untested) like this:


* Before starting, REMOVE all the songs from your iPod using iTunes (this must be done only once)
* Close iTunes
* Start Winamp and sync songs to your iPod with ml_ipod as usual.
* When you're done, hit the eject button in Winamp
* Start up iTunes and allow it to find your iPhone. If you look in the music section, you should see all the files synced using ml_ipod
* Close iTunes
* Enjoy your songs on the iPhone
