I am serious, I just wondered if you were. Not everyday this situation happens.

The XBLA Paper Boy is the arcade version. I don't like it as much.

Faxanadu is a yes, just don't be put off by the wonky controls. That's why I didn't recommend it, but if you have patience you'll have a good time.

Anya: I think Gabu meant that IT'S A TRAP.

Mega Man III
Pop that dirty bastard into your console and flick that switch. Hands off your controller and enjoy one of (if not, THE, personally) the best Mega Man intro songs ever. Goodness, that game is still so common it isn't too expensive. It might not be the hardest MM game, but actually it is one of the longest MM games (8+4+5 levels), while still maintaining some hard levels as well.

You could also grab Rad Racer, but only the first game. It is simplistic, but a lot of fun and has some good music in the car audio. And if you have a set of red-green glasses (think about early 3D movies), press Select in-game, and you can play the game in 3D

it's about ten bucks anywhere, perhaps she is gunning for complete sets.

I saw an amazon listing of final fantasy that was "like new" and "complete" because the person had typed up a copy of the manual and printed a picture of the box cover. pretty shifty.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 2!

*ahem*

G.I. Joe (especially the original), Isolated Warrior, Kick Master, Recca, Doki! Doki! Yuuenchi/Trolls in Crazyland, and other games developed by KID are pretty solid choices. Isolated Warrior in particular is a woefully underrated gem.

Kick Master isn't bad... neither is the first GI Joe game, actually. (Never played the second one but Capcom did publish it so it has that going for it.) Then again, the only two characters in that game worth playing are Duke and Snake Eyes. (Duke because he's powerful, Snake Eyes because his attacks, while weak, don't use ammo.)

I'd also say, obviously, to avoid anything by Color Dreams/Wisdom Tree like the plague - although I do have a soft spot for Crystal Mines.

Wow, I had no idea that had a non-japanese release! I'm still waiting for a version of the original Japanese rom that doesn't have all of the glitchy graphics.

Two very awesome choices! I'm sure that you'll like Startropics and I'm actually playing through Crystalis for the first time right now and I'm really enjoying it so far.

Have fun .

It looks like whoever had Star Tropics before me took all three slots. I need to find a way to delete that data.

That should work .

P.S. Since I doubt that the letter came with the game, when you're asked for the frequency code the answer is 747.

This. It's exactly like Metal Gear: Solid. It had me pulling my hair out when I first played this but after 2 months of being lost, I decided to look it up on Gamefaqs.

RC Pro AM

Don't bother with the second one. The first one is impossible to beat, but yet it's an amazing play.

If you can find this game. Enjoy it. Because it's one game to be fun from start to finish.

Not too bad, Anya... not bad at all.

Bitmap: RC Pro Am 2 isn't bad or anything like that. It's a good game - it's just that the first is a classic.
