MP4 is short for MPEG-4. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the standards of 1998. (Yes, that really is when MPEG-4 was standardized.)

Well I have the newest Winamp from 2009, but it will only give me the audio of MP4 files, not the video.

Any other recommendations?

There's VLC, CCCP, and K-Lite in order of complexity of setup.

Or roll your own setup and get ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter, and a DirectShow-compatible player like Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic.

Also, no one uses Bink video.
