Ironically, our temps have drifted down into the 80s, and it feels niiiice at night here.

After melting for several weeks, it is a welcome change.

Summer was late for us, it seems.

Now we're getting into the scorching hot temperatures, so I'm guessing this will last into the end of September.

Incidentally, we also had 84° today. Apparently it will never get into the really hot temperatures for us this year.

It's getting to be almost 87 here. Not too hot, but I tend to think of anything 85 upwards as uncomfortable.

Inversely, it'll take a pretty low winter temperature before I consider thinking it as uncomfortable (like, somewhere in the single digits)

My AC died before I went to bed, around ~8 AM.

I turned it off thinking that it just needed a break since it had been running (fan-only) 24/7, with the actual AC part on quite a bit too.

It's now 87 F in my room and rising, to the point my laptop died.

Fucking wonderful.

"TheFuckingWeather" says 92° for here, but I end up staying inside just about ALL of the time, sans moving groceries from the truck to the house. So inside with housewide AC, it's 78°F.

It probably has something to do with the fact that my laptop was closed (so the heat from the internals wasn't radiating out though the keyboard, like usual, but getting trapped before it), combined with the fact I was running some stuff.

It didn't BSOD, either, it just... stopped.

I woke up at 8 AM this morning and it felt like it was in the 90s. My room's thermometer said 107F. Probably why I didn't sleep much.

I've gone this whole summer so far without turning on the AC. One more month and I'll have reached a goal of some sort.

Past 90F I start breaking down. At 100F I cease functioning properly. I have to be at about 75F to feel even remotely comfortable

68-72F feels best.

Ah, yeah. 80 degrees I feel uncomfortable. 90 degrees it flips and I seem to forget it's there. High 90s are uncomfortable but I just drink a lot then. 100 I start to slow down but I keep working. It's about 107 degrees that I can't take any hotter, and even then, I can still function--I just can't do anything other than sit around in that heat.
