Seriously I'm on a roll, creating this new song from absolutely nothing, everything is going swimmingly for over an hour and a half and then suddenly I reach a point where I'm just stuck.

Now I'm like ... going to be sitting there ... my routine at these points is place a note, stare at it for nine hours, delete it, and then close Logic and do something else.

As far as music goes, when I'm in Guitar Pro and I get writer's block, I get up and do something else for a while, sometimes watching tv and sometimes listening to other music. Something will eventually inspire me within the hour and I'll get back to it quickly.

What really bugs me, though, is when I get it while drawing. I'll get done with one small thing and I'll just lose the image in my mind completely, forcing me to completely start over. I wish I could even do small doodles without this happening to me, but it's a big problem so most of my stuff takes the course of a month to complete.

Thankfully, once I get to lineart it's all just tracing and the coloring is pretty quick too.

I used to write stuff and writers block eventually stopped me from ever finishing the story so i know all too well how frustrating it is...

When I try to force it, quality takes a dip, and I feel weird when people praise me for what I think is crap. Then the block gets stronger. :x

I know it sucks to have, but my trigger is anger, so I wind up being preternaturally productive.

The actual issue I have is figuring out what to do with it... >.>

When I get writer's block , it generally takes several days to a week in order to get some good ideas built up in my brain. Like right now. I want to make a comic that crosses Nintendo with Nine Inch Nails and set between 1993 and 1997. I don't have an interesting idea on how to progress the comic other than either fake games based on songs from their two albums at the time or a special edition N64. Maybe mix them both? I dunno, but it's getting there.

As a writer and an avid one I know that there is nothing worse than being on a block. It sucks. ass.
