Ok, let's do some math.
We'll assume Anya makes an average 40 posts per day, and she needs 10,000 posts to get to 20,000 Now, 10,000/40 = 250. Today (2009/08/13) 250 days into the future is 2010/04/20. Thus, she will get post 20,000 April next year, assuming she keeps posting all the way through. ____________________ |

These need to be pretty big sprees though for 20,000 to happen this year.
Here goes my math again: Today is August 14, 2009. There are 139 days left until the end of this year. 10000 divided by 139 is 71, thus an average of 71 posts per day would be needed to meet this goal. Now, let's assume on both Christmas and New Year's Spree she does 600 posts each (rather optimistic, but whatever). This changes our equation to: 8800/139 = 63, i. e. 63 posts per day are required. Based on these calculations, I say that reaching post 20,000 this year is very unlikely. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. ____________________ |
