My sleepcycle has gone off the deep end. For the last hour I have been twisting trying to get in a good position.

So, I guess it's off to tvtropes till I collapse from sleepyness.

So has anyone not been able to sleep for random reasons?

For some reason, I can't sleep tonight.

As of late, I'm usually out by midnight, 1am, or at the latest, 2am.

But tonight, for some reason, I can't sleep.

I have a headache and I know that I should at least try....

Nah. Sleeping has been my strong point. In fact, with the new ergonomic pillow I got, I now seem to sleep like the dead. I wake up, having forgotten I was alive in the first place, and am like "Oh, right, I exist in this reality."

Case in point, I try to fix it by going to bed at 2:00 AM and waking up at 10 AM, like before:

- I toss and turn for a while
- Finally fall asleep
- Several bizarre dreams, phasing in and out of sleep mode
- Finally fully waking up, feeling like I slept a full eight hours, only to step outside and see... darkness, because I slept 3 hours and it's still only 5 AM

The worst nights are those where I sleep 30 minutes. In total.

Coincidentally, they also happen to be sunday nights, meaning the next day I get to go to school while trying to stop myself from falling asleep. Yay.

Those are always "fun".

Personally, I'm spending my (ruined) morning playing with VM-chan a bit more, setting up some things on it (like EditPlus) and playing around with it.

I might even install Winamp sooner or later, heh ...

Anyway, I cannot sleep when my hubby snores, so I will try to go to sleep before him, but last night I didn't. I think I finally feel asleep at 4:30, only to woken up at 9:40am.

I sleep ok if I can get myself to sleep 6.5 hours before I have to wake up. It was all goin fine this morning until I woke up to the tune of iuntense pain because I slept on my left leg wrong. Now I have to limp to get around the house. shit.

I toss & turn a bit myself before I knock out, I usually have a glass 'a water next to me so in case I wake in the middle of the night thirsty. When I can't it's because I have lots 'a stuff on my mind, I try to empty out my mind from the worries of the day so I don't get distracted. I also put in my mind that my legs feel very heavy that they can't move, then from there I crash.

Then there's having made an habit of sleeping at 5 am, only to not being able to becouse of this horrible annoying music thing that is stuck on my brain so deep I can't stand hearing anything with that rythm.

And I wake up at 9 am becouse of DRILLS. Sometimes with that stupid rythm STILL playing.

I usually go to bed around 3 AM and wake up at 11 (currently.)

8 hours of sleep... without any real problem.

This morning I woke up at around 3:30 feeling dehydrated. I got up and drank some icy cold water, then tried to get back to sleep. I recall the clock saying 4:45 or so before I finally drifted off.

Yesterday morning, the same thing happened at around 6:00.

I guess I need to go to bed earlier than midnight.

Sleep's a disaster. I fall asleep and wake up when my body feels like. It's especially bad during the summer because I'm always uncomfortable. Luckily my mattress is decent so that doesn't end up being distracting.
