Hey. I happened along this site when I was trying to find VL-Tone for some advice on exactly how to start hacking a PSX game (I had remembered him when he posted on Arwing Landing with his Starfox level editor), but I saw what the entire forum had to offer, so I decided to join.

Personally, I'm not too good at TT64, particularly because every time I try to testplay the hacked ROM, even if it's a small change, the game won't load.

Hello. My Name is Adrian2000 and i life in Germany. Im 13 years old, so I don´t understand evrything.
This is my first english forum. I use Toads Tool and I wait for an update. I now something about hacking,
because I have the Homebrewchannel on the Wii and I installed a hacked Super Mario 64.

Hope, here is somebody, who speaks germany like me. So he or she can understand, what this means:
Hoffe, hier sind deutsche oder zumindest welche, die dieser Sprache mächtig sind.

Ich kann deutsch, aber nicht so gutt. Mein lehrer war nicht so gut. Aber ich höre Sie.

Apologies if my German is broken, but welcome to the SM64 forum. Despite having language difficulties, you have managed to avoid the mistake of making your own topic for something that belongs in another one, so you should do just fine. Feel free to ask questions--in the questions topic.

I guess I should have posted here when I first joined... I'm not on here often though, so haven't really been seen around here by many.

I'm Rez2, or so that thing in the top left of my post says. I hack (mainly) Rez, to find out more about it. So far I have gotten beta music back into the final game and extracted sounds out of the PS2 version, as well as trying to get debug systems left in the game active again.

I like to make 3d images in 3DSMax, I'm not great at it but I'm certainly improving. Two things I'm currently working on are Rez2, and a fake test level to be imported into SM64.

Edit:Forgot to add, I recently got an Equalizer, and Yoshielectron or Yoshiman as he is called on here, has helped me to begin making codes. I'm still pretty much a noob at it, but you gotta start somewhere.

Have a nice day!

I'm 0003mg. I have been hacking the Yoshi's Story ROM for months now and have a lot of codes for it. I even have some ASM hacks for Yoshi's Story. I know how to work blender well and I've been using TT64 for a while.

While both would be awsome, VL-tone does have a Starfox editor no where near total completion, but I think that was given up on.

I readed a ton of topics and I got the idea of making a hack dedicated to the kids that died on the ABC Kindergarden at Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

I almost forgot...
Somethimes I won't connect to the forum (like 2 months or depending on the homework and exams..)

Edit: Oh... thanks.. I didn't saw that (Learned and found the delete and the edit option.. now is just one simple post.. thanks)

...

Sorry for my broken Spanish, but perhaps I can get an answer as to your... unique idea's reason for existence.

Although the board rules insist you reply in English so... ...yeah. >.>

So....yeah...i'm mariomesser. I've been looking at this board for a while and I'm really impressed at what big things you've achieved. I love SM64 and all things related to it. I'd love to hack it and make/find new stuff, BUT

I have 0.00% experience on coding, hacking and everything that could be helpfull. Exept for ideas. These are rough ideas of mine witch could be helpful...I guess.

Now, I know that you can't run before you can walk, but here are some of my ideas witch might become possible as our knowlege of SM64 improves. They are only ideas, and I'm not forcing you to do anything.

so...well I do not have the courage to make a new thread...I'll put some of my ideas here

things with a ? mean that I'm not sure if it could ever happen, but it's just some ideas

1. Animated textures? That would be awesome for new possabilities.

2. Waluigi Pinball. The second I first saw those giant balls, the first thing that it reminded me of, was Waluigi Pinball. You could even try to rip it from MKDS or make a stage of your own...with lotsa BALLS! (just had to say it)

3 Bowsers castle? This made me a little bit sad about SM64, as I really missed the castle. Something with hallways, staircases and lotsa fire beams

4 waves???? now this is JUST an idea. We haven't even got to hacking the water yet and stuff....but imagine lethal lava land with waves....it would be so mutch harder and awesome!

5 new enemies???? imported from zelda, BK/BT or even goldeneye???? Scrap that. I would laugh so hard seeing mario walk around the dam level from Goldeneye. That would be soooo funny!

6 new bosses? Yeah. Not just harder, but really NEW bosses. Something like the tank from NSMB

7 SMG??????????????????????????? ok now this is where i'm really unseure if this is ever gonna happen, but how about you import the star wireframe, or however you call it, and replace the stars in SM64 with SMG's stars...change the cannons into warpstars, new backgrounds.

oh and Gravity ?^9001. I was stunned by F-zero X. Just how the cars sticked to the stage, even when it was upside down!! This was SMG 10 years before SMG even existed! This could be possible...no, IMpossible to do. But still, it's great just ot think about it
, with mario having to climb a long chain
8 Airship. Imagine bowser in the fire sea replaced by the ariship.with mario having to climb a long chain

now, i have some idea on how this might happen....(note 0.00% hacking experience so I do not know if this works or not)

replace one of the trees with a chain texture, and make the climbing area longer...or something like 10 "trees" on top of each other....

soo.....whaddaya think?

Hi, I'm new here (although i've already rubbed shoulders with Metal Man). I'm actually working on a hack that features Luigi as the main character, but takes place in Sarassaland instead of the Mushroom Kingdom. As of now, most of what I have done is texture editing. I'm still working on getting familiar with Blender before importing levels into Super Mario 64. Due to the enormous workload given by my Honors classes, I have not been able to work on the hack in a while, and progress has ground to a halt.

Eeeemh... Hi
I never tell my real name, but i'm known as Conte de Contis, aka Dinomar and i am 17 years old. Seems that this thread was inactive for some weeks (with Christmas it's normal), so, i hope i am not getting wrong - I acutally logged in because this fact of custom models in SM64 interested me a lot: when there is something that requires "creativity" i am really happy - I acutally hope i don't get taken around for some things i do (for example, with messain's model importer i imported a "giant toilet", but only for fun). If there is a talent on where i really brag myself, that's "art". I acutally apologize if my english is not good enough, english is not my native language, i am italian. I hope on a good welcome

Er, hello. Milla T is in the house! I've been snooping around this site for as long as I can remember. TT64 is my dream and it is all I love to do. However, I'm only good with textures and storyboards...

I've witnessed the foolish things people post here and where they post them. And it is only funny to see them get chewed out. So I hope that I'm doing things correctly.

Also, a mentor on the whole coding hex blah would be much appreciated!

Welcome to a new era of SM64 hacking! No more slap ons!

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
