This thread can be used to post your own video game collection or other video game collections that you think people would be interested in.
Some people have already seen a part of my video game collection in the Jul Pub thread although since people were interested in seeing the rest of it I've decided to post the rest below.
Video game shelves
This is the main shelf where I keep the majority of my video games. There are over 200 NES games and about 100 SNES games on the front. If you look at the bottom left corner you can also see part of my Turbo Grafx 16 collection. On the back there are Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, PlayStation 1 & 2, Gamecube, Atari 2600, and Intelivision games.
Console and accessory shelves
These shelves contain most of the video game consoles that I own. Unfortunately I can't hook all of them up at the same time so until I play them I just leave them on display.
Computer shelves
This is where I store my retro computers. It currently holds a Vic 20 (with over 20 games for it), An Atari 800XL, An Amiga (with some but not all required hookups), and some other random odds and ends (a Commodore 64 Modem, a Vic 20 ram adapter [with 8K and 16K ram cartridges plugged into it], disc drives, and a few other things). The second highest shelf also holds an Action Max which is a video game console that uses VHS tapes for games (it's not a very good console though, all of the games are "point and shoot" and since the games are VHS tapes the games play exactly the same every single time.
Also if you look at the top right corner of the first picture that I posted you can see my Atari XE which can also be considered a computer.
TV setup
This is a picture of what is currently hooked up to my TV. Here's a list of them fro right to left:
1. Sega Genesis with 32X and CD attachments
2. Sega Saturn
3. Ninendo 64
4. GameCube
5. SNES 2
6. 3DO Goldstar
7. Turbo Duo
8. Sega Dreamcast
9. Philip's CD-i
10. Gemeni (plays Atari 2600 games)
11. Playstation 2
12. NES
The glass case beside the TV also contains 4 Game & Watches and a Coleco hand held game.
Ardace machines
These three arcade machines are 100% functional. Arkanoid and Rampage were given to me by a person who was cleaning out their storage unit and Out Zone (which is actually an incredible game) was about to be thrown into a dumpster when I saved it (It was donated to thrift store but for some reason they didn't want to sell it so I offered to take it off of their hands ).
Pinball machines
These pinball machines actually belong to my Dad but they're in my game room so I'll post them anyway . The machine on the left is called "Big Guns" and is one of the best pinball machines that I have ever played. The other machine is called "Hot Hand" and it's about 30 years old. It is my Dad's #1 favorite pinball machine because he used to play it while he was in college.
Hand held shelves 1
Hand held shelves 2
These two shelves hold most of my hand held related items. The only really notable thing in the first picture is the red container that is near the top right of the image. it contains every North American released Virtual Boy game. In the second image you can see the bag that holds my Atari Lynx V1, the box the contains an Atari Lynx V2, a carrying case that contains a Sega Game Gear, a Super Vision and a boxed crystal blue Neo Geo Pocket.
Bedroom setup
And finally, the few things that I keep separate from everything else. The stack of CDs on the far left are all for the Philip's CD-i. The two games at the very top right of that stack are Link: The Faces of Evil and Hotel Mario . The next stack over is almost entirely filled with old PC games. The large wooden shelf tower holds all of my newer games as well as some other random things. One of the things to note is the Game & Watch Collection DS game that can be found on the far right of the DS game shelf. The GameCube that is hooked up to the TV is there solely because it has a game Boy Player attached to it. My PS3 can be found by opening the doors at the bottom of my TV stand.
And that's about it for my collection. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the collections that other people post .
