What is your budget?

(Poster advice, put a little more effort in your OP. What you know, budget, etc. Use your head for me so I don't have to)

E- Not trying to be a dick or anything. I just...don't really know how else I can help you.

I really don't have any amount set for a budget.

Plasma is on it's last leg and LCD just plain looks better. If you're willing to drop a bit fuckton more cash, OLEDs will give you eyegasms. Either that or wait a year or two to make your decision when WalMart is supplying 42 inch OLEDs for $1,000. Okay, that's a bit of a stretch but yeah...

Plasmas are probably the worst go all-around for overall weight and general life expectancy...not to mention that you aren't as free to put it in cramped spaces (entertainment centers) as you would an LCD because of ventilation.

You won't ever see me buying one.

If they ever figured out hi-def CRT right that didn't weigh a ton...

Well, just get an old Computer Monitor and plug an ASTC (or whatever they call it) digital signal box into it, and then have a switch to plug video games/whatever into it.

Assuming they all support HD resolutions, you're set.

I WAS going to suggest going to the local thrift store and buying any TV that works, but if you're going for an LCD, try to find a good, cheap one. If it comes to it, buy one with a smaller screen entirely.

I finally decided that I'll stick with a LCD TV.
