So, the founder of the company I work for passed away earlier this year. In honor of his passing (and leadership), Rouse's (local-ish grocery store chain) has lowered prices to absolute ridiculousness - they're at the same levels they were at in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
2-liters of soda for $0.75? Shit yes. And I bought four of them.

Yeah, it's kind of confusing. @_o I think they're holding a sale because what started off as just a community grocery store grew into something spanning two states (LA and MS)
Also, pack of hot dogs for 79¢, pound of bananas for 37¢, it goes on and on and on____________________ JOIN #PROG YOU JERKS.

 | If a store around here was selling 2L soda bottles for 75 cents I would probably buy about $10 worth  . Soda is one of those things that I find it's smart to stock up on when it's on sale because I know that I'm going to drink it within 24 hours of buying it eventually.

Usually with these big sales, there's a limit.
But that doesn't stop you from buying 8, leaving and then return and getting 8 more.
