Yeah, 12C is a joke.

I mean serious knee-freezing, snow, icy blasts of coldness weather.

The sort of weather you get with 13 degrees below freezing and windchill in the Chaco Culture area, which is a very desolate place.

I actually went to an area covered in snow. Two or three of them, actually, so I've done the slipping on ice. It snowed once too--while I was waking up, and we had to pack up and leave.

That was one of the colder moments of my life.

Nothing below 0 F though, yeah. That'd be pretty crazy. I'd need a new leather jacket with fur lining to brave that.
