	This game has bombed...severely. The port apparently has some fairly big lag issues. The net code alone causes lag to speeds of ~10FPS. Do not buy. ____________________

Played this game today, and the AI is incredibly stupid. After noticing this, I checked out a couple of reviews and noticed the same thing.

If online is ever fixed, this game is an excellent purchase. However, it looks like it won't happen due to people knowing on how bad this game is online.

I'd buy it if you are a serious KOF fan. Myself? Don't buy it.

Apparently they're working on a patch... oh wait, the game was already patched on release. OK, time for ANOTHER patch...

The support and excitement generated by the fans so far for THE KING OF FIGHTERS XII is amazing and incredibly appreciated. We are so happy to finally have it available. Even after the game was finished, additional steps were taken to help improve the player experience and an update was released for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.

However, Ignition Entertainment is not at all happy with the online performance or with some of the functional issues that the fans have raised even after the release of these updates. We want to ensure the community that we are not taking this lightly and are having meetings in person with members of SNK PLAYMORE even at this very moment. Please continue your constructive feedback because we are listening and will do everything we can to have SNK PLAYMORE address these issues as soon as possible.

Doesn't excuse the bugs, though... the game should have never shipped in this state to begin with.

kof 98 um is awesome but im holding my breath till kof 02 unlimited match is announced for the US. It looks INSANE. Largest kof cast ever!!

To be fair, if the problems end up getting fixed then at least they made good and it shows they're serious about their customers. But imagine if this was, say, a Wii game with no way of patching it... :\ Either you'd have to recall every copy or say "screw it" and piss everyone off.

Still is terrible I am seeing. Developers don't need to tell users about NAT2 connections. They need to seriously work around it.

I tried for days to get that connection and it only left me with no internet in general. Coming from three people who knows more about this than I do: I was doing everything right!

And hell, some online games work wonders for me. But yet games like this dont? I will be pissed of MVC2 will suck online.

Haven't heard any complaints on MVC2 gameplay for 360 so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Also, if your Internet connection is configured behind a firewall using NAT Type 3, we recommend reconfiguring your setup to utilize NAT Type 1 (for PS3) or an “open” setting (for Xbox 360).

No way you should be telling people how to set this stuff up. Especially in 2009.

You'd think that but Sony's been bitching about NAT connection other than 1 since it was created. I used 2 off my Cisco router but it still works fine but they give you a warning that says you'd be way better off with it 1. ____________________
