Same goes for programs, I guess. Excluding services, anti-virus and stuff like that:

Taskbar:
- Thunderbird
- mIRC
- Firefox
- Winamp

Tray:
- Steam
- WhatPulse

.. pretty much the usual stuff.

One, being IE, but there's a few on the task bar. Maybe that's why this lappy is so bad.

There's like 9 things running.

See, if I could post from work, I could have said something along the lines of...

- 3 IE windows (one for credit card account viewing, one for accounts to be reviewed, one for a time zone map)
- 1 TSYS window
- Shortcut toolbar/window
- Notepad

But right now, I can only say I have two Firefox windows, Pidgin and mIRC. Pity.

Firefox
mIRC
Limewire (yeah, I know. Hush.)
uTorrent
Winamp

I think that's all of the active programs, now for background:

Avast!

Hm. Is that all?

Windows Explorer (x3)
Pidgin
foobar2000
Firefox

That's it. I close a program if I don't need to keep it running/am not using it because having too many programs open eats a lot of RAM, which I really don't have a lot of to spare (this computer is bad/old).

-Internet Explorer (single window, single tab)
-Windows Live Messenger

This is me pretty much most of the time, unless I'm doing something productive.

I could have a bunch of chat programs open, but I stopped using them as often as I used to. Have them on my phone now. But it takes up a lot of the battery (as well as going online) so as of late, I've had them turned off.

I have to say that Live Messenger is the worst. I keep getting spam IMs.

Spam IMs? Weird, I've never had one of those before. In fact, I've never had any experience with any chatbot ever.

Oh yea, almost all the time. The only reason why I use MSN's IM service is because I know one person on there that I chat to sometimes. But then I get these damn IMs which makes me want to close the program right away.

If that's the case, you should go into your Privacy settings and change it so that only people on your Allow list can message you.

In keeping with the topic, it's mapping time!

-ZSNES folder window
-Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004
-Paint
-ZSNES
-bgmapper
-Internet Explorer (soon to be closed)

Just opened up TrillianAstria. Hopefully I can change the settings there since I don't actually use MSN's program directly.
