Ummm, yeah. Listen. There has NEVER been a language rule. Besides, I'm a strong believer in the whole "it's just another series of syllables" belief; I seriously don't see ANY problem with swearing. There's no swearing rule here. Having said that, don't write a 500 word long string of "fuck" either. Use common sense, okay?

Dude, no body is like 10 here. We can swear if we want. We weren't told anything, except from you. If you have a problem, why are you on a forum with like 60 swear words said a minute.

Actually, if it counts, I'm 13.

The "openable grills" object (I assume the same grills in bob-omb battle field) will crash the game when placed outside of the castle

That's unavoidable with the current version of TT64. Besides, why do you need such an object?

EDIT: Wait, check the objects that cover the Castle Cannon and the entrance to the Blue Switch area. Are they the same object?

I am referring to object "109 * openable grill"
sister object to what I'd assume perhaps "110 Purple floor switch for grills"?
not certain
is there a newer current version of the editor, as in a new release?
because I have beta 0.5 as of now...
I was planning on perhaps gating off an area which would require access for the button to get to thus said area,
be it any given area that could fit the grill with some imagination
but yes, crashes game in castle grounds area

Aha!!!

Those are the barred gates near the one-up mushroom under the stone bridge in Bob-Omb Battlefield!

You probably need to have the switch in the area somewhere for it to work.

I've noticed that you cant rotate a lot of objects when you use "relative" but when you try to use the blue rotation bar it wont rotate and when you lets go of the mouse button it says:

Object Expected

Script Error. Continue?

I've noticed this sometimes happens when i re-sort the object combo box ("123" or "abc") i press yes and it still sorts.

Why is it that when I use the editor, the pendulum glass on the clock becomes a solid color, instead of transparent?

Well, if you can change it's color, it should be 0 0 0 (I honestly don;t know the hex of it, or whatever else it could be, but you can change it yourself)

I could be very wrong though.

I seem to have difficulties with something, whenever I view a map clicking the TOP button, any clicks ussually keep objects I haven't even selected to move and/or become invisible, I lost where the objects for Castle Grounds went...

Is TT64 supposed to always use software rendering or is something just glitching up? I want to use OpenGL rendering instead of software rendering.

(Windows XP, somewhat of a gaming computer)

I'm compiling all these bug reports, hopefully most if not all of them will be fixed in the next release, which should be -relatively- soon.

DirectX and OpenGL rendering normally work well on XP, it's on Vista that it always falls back to software rendering. (And that will be fixed when Director 11 is released at the end of 2007)

That being said, even on XP, in some rare cases some video-cards and drivers might be incompatible and cause TT64 (Shockwave 3d) to fall back to software rendering.

Did you try to switch back to DirectX renderers and OpenGL using the pop-up menu? Did you try them all? I assume that you do have the latest version of OpenGL installed? And for just for the record, what's your video-card make and model?

I don't have Dell's computer build listing for this computer, so I can't tell you what videocard I have.

Where would I find the info on that and the OpenGL version?

Yes, I tried switching to every one. It keeps popping back to software rendering.

(TT64 is completely usable, just argharghargh butt-ugly when it's rendering.)

A similar occurence just happened to me recently, I gave the tower object in Whomp's Fortress the "Static and NOT Solid" behavior, and the original tower behavior seems to have disappeared from the behavior list!

Also, VL-Tone, can you make it to where if you type in position data manually or paste those parameters, the 3D view locks on the the object immediately? The camera just stays in place and I have to switch to fly camera mode and back to orbit to see it again.

Is it because TT64 can't make objects transparent and when it saves it makes it solid?
