Well that story ruined my night It's hard to have a straight-forward opinion on cases like this, because we really don't know what was going on with the mother. She could have been insane and not actually meant any harm. The human mind is funny like that. If it's drug related, then it's back to it being her own fault. If it wasn't, and she's mentally impaired from natural cause, then that's a bit different.
