It was in the cards for a while, since the lack of net neutrality sort of allowed an open thing for them to do what they wanted with.

But now I hope this will be the issue which helps start the fight against the ISPs--since they already screwed me over with all kinds of crashes before they chose to filter 4chan--and I have hardly any other ISP choices in the area, as much as I become increasingly tired of AT&T's actions...

Well, yeah. I mean, AT&T did pick the most popular AND objectionable site to target.

But even that isn't enough to remove the fact they're playing middleman in a service where, ideally, they shouldn't be.

I dunno... I think they doing a public service here personally. If you guys are so scared of censorship you should at least suggest to them that they should enforce a do_not_breathe_this.html to pop up every time you try to go to 4chan...

Apparently an IP that was traced to /b/ was DDoSing AT&T and as such AT&T blocked /b/ to figure out the source.
