I figured it was only a matter of time.

Erases use of having two thumbdrives with two separate drives.

Course there is such a thing as a partition but...there are a few ways I could see this being a better alternative.

Only 20 bucks for a 2x2 gig.

That's actually a pretty decent idea. Though I wonder what happens if you're in the middle of a read / write and you slide that button...

I'd be more worried about trying to put a thumbdrive into a not-so-easy space and fumbling with it and/or snapping the end off, honestly. I've dealt with plenty of comps not of my own that are built terrible for placing thumbdrives in.

It unplugs the USB drive. There's a plug on both ends of it, and that button is a slider.
